New York Premiere of ‘The Responders’
The Responders: Breaking the Silence is the untold story of September 11th, 2001, both from the uncensored experience of the first responders who risked their lives that day and from those who have since responded to the call to speak the truth, whatever the cost.
Combining exclusive interviews with rarely seen archival footage, The Responders tells the harrowing—but ultimately hopeful—saga of camaraderie, survival and courage in the face of overwhelming crimes against the conscience of humanity.
If the Responders can face what was done to them, then so must we.
The premiere takes place at 2:00 PM on Friday, Sept. 11, followed by a Q&A with the film’s director, John Kirby, and some of its protagonists.
